Community Initiatives
Deepam Meditrust:
Deepam Meditrust is the non profit wing of Deepam Hospitals. The trust was started with the aim of serving the poor and needy. The trust organises Community Outreach Camps, Awareness Programmes and treatment is done for free or for a subsidised cost.
Vision:
No patient should be denied treatment due to lack of funds.
Deepam Well women Camps:
Deepam Meditrust has signed an MOU with Equitas Microfinance to provide medical care to all women members of Equitas. Through this initiative more than 300 women are screened every week for General Health Problems, Breast, Oral and Cervical Cancers. Women diagnosed to have cancer in these camps are treated free of cost or at a subsidised cost.
