Gastroenterology unit deals the diseases of the liver, gall bladder and pancreas in addition to the diseases of the entire gastro-intestinal tract which starts from mouth, passes through oesophagus (the food pipe) stomach (the food sac), intestines (small and large), rectum and ends at the anal canal.
