- Deepam Hospital was the pioneer in starting
- Laparoscopic surgery way back in 1994.
- The Hospital has a very well organized and coordinated team consisting of a team of Senior Laparoscopic Surgeons, Anesthetists, Technicians and Nurses. Apart from Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, repair of all kinds of hernia, appendicectomy, intestinal resections, benign liver lesions & rectopexy are being done besides hiatus hernia and spleenectomy.
- A number of urological and gynecological procedures are also performed by the department.
- The Department of MAS also intends to train the manpower including the doctors, nursing staff, technicians and other relevant personnel to benefit the medical fraternity at large.
