DEPARTMENT OF NEPHROLOGY
- This Department caters to the Kidney related problems including dialysis and renal transplant follow-ups. The department is a well equipped Hemo-dialysis Unit with 9 latest machines. Water for dialysis is provided by Reverse Osmosis (RO) system.
- A separate dedicated machine for critically ill patients is available in ICUs for bedside dialysis.
- The Department has also facilities for initiating patients for Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD).
- A significant number of patients of Post Kidney Transplant have been visiting the Department for follow-up at Deepam.
